The Vision Australia Library is a proud supporter of the Melbourne Writers Festival. This year marked the 40th anniversary of the Melbourne Writers Festival. The focus was on “celebrating the visionary power of writers and storytellers to shape our world”.

We were honoured to host three award-winning Australian authors; Anita Heiss, Bri Lee and Bob Brown. We welcomed over five hundred clients to enjoy our events, both in person and via our livestream. It was truly a privilege to be joined by our clients living across Australia to participate in this world-renowned festival.

Our first guest, Anita Heiss, is an internationally published author of over twenty books across genres including non-fiction, historical fiction, commercial fiction and children’s fiction. She is one of Australia’s most prolific and well-known authors, and joined Hana Assafiri to discuss her latest novel ‘The Paradise Pact’.
