Your journey to extending travel skills starts here – next stop, Geelong!
We are hitting the tracks these school holidays for a dynamic Orientation and Mobility journey. Jump on board with us as we master regional train travel on V/Line and navigate the streets of Geelong.
Over the course of the day, participants will:
- Travel along the V-Line to Eastern Beach in Geelong
- Find their way to an ice cream shop
- Learn how to use Good Maps at Geelong station
- Use Meta glasses and apps on the train
- Learn about train travel safety, how to use maps and landmark identification
- Plus, there will be a fun travel quiz!
Participants will explore the use of Meta AI glasses and navigation systems, station accessibility features, practice navigating new streetscapes, and explore the best of central Geelong in a highly supportive, peer-group environment.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and be sure to pack a water bottle, hat and glasses.

- Drop-off time: between 8.30am and 9am
- Pick-up time: between 4pm and 4.15pm
- Cost: $581.94 ($64.66 per hour x 7 hours, plus 2 hours for preparation and follow up)
Important information
This program is funded through the NDIS under ‘Capacity Building’. Families who are not NDIS participants can choose to self-fund.
Register to save your place and we’ll be in touch to talk through the details. As this group is delivered as a Program of Support under the NDIS, enrolling means:
- Providing two weeks’ notice if you need to withdraw your child.
- Being billed for the program if your child is unable to attend.

This program is designed for kids aged 12 to 18 years.
